Scope of Works

Biesse are an international company who manufacture lines, machinery and components for making products, enhancing the potential of the wide range of materials processed by our customers.

They simplify the production processes of customers working in the furniture, construction, automotive and aerospace sectors, courtesy of the skill of the people who work in our production sites around the world.

With Biesse machinery being primarily manufactured in Italy before being transported into the UK, Biesse requires a trusted partner to support the final stage of delivery and assist with installation of machines ranging from compact entry-level solutions to advanced industrial manufacturing systems.

This includes offloading, positioning and ensuring machines are ready for their dedicated engineers to complete commissioning.

While the delivery and installation process is typically well coordinated, site-specific factors can occasionally require additional support. Variations with site readiness, access restrictions, space constraints, or changes to customer schedules may impact the timing of machine installation.

At AIS Flegg Projects we are fully equipped and experienced to manage any potential challenges that may arise to ensure a smooth installation process and minimising disruption to the overall project schedule.

AIS Flegg Projects Solution

At AIS Flegg Projects, we act as a long-term UK partner supporting Biesse with final logistics and machine moving support.

In most cases, machines are delivered directly to the customer site, where we provide offloading and positioning support before Biesse’s in-house engineers take responsibility for final assembly and commissioning. Using specialist cranes and forklifts, we always assign skilled crews for every job and operate with a minimum of two people to ensure safety and efficiency.

Biesse has a large base of existing customers, and for these deliveries it is a significant advantage that we are already familiar with site layouts, operational requirements and on-site teams. Customers often appreciate seeing a familiar face on site, and this consistency helps build confidence, ensuring a smooth installation process. For new and existing Biesse customers, we carry out additional site surveys alongside Biesse’s own assessments to verify access requirements and installation conditions, helping to minimise risk and ensure effective project planning.

Biesse approaches every machine installation as a dedicated project, providing expert support and consultancy from the point of sale through to commissioning. This ensures that each installation is carried out smoothly and in full compliance with the latest Health & Safety regulations.

For Biesse, using a specialist machine moving partner is essential to delivering a seamless customer experience, from the moment the machine arrives on site to the processing of the first material.

In cases where customers are not immediately able to receive new Biesse machines, we provide secure storage within our 40,000 sq. ft warehouse where machines are held safely until delivery can be completed. Once customers are ready, we then provide transport using our own fleet of customised moving equipment.

If issues arise on site, such as blocked access routes or limited space, our teams remain flexible. Schedules are adjusted, crews are reassigned, and coordination takes place with both Biesse and the end customer. Where needed, we remain on site to ensure the job is completed, even if delays occur.

We are proud that this long-standing partnership has delivered consistent and reliable results while maintaining high safety standards.

This reliability and adaptability continue to strengthen the working relationship and drive continued success between Biesse and AIS Flegg Projects.
