The Challenge and the Setting
Fanuc is a global OEM and one of the world’s leading suppliers of industrial robots and CNC control systems. Their injection moulding machines (RoboShot) are manufactured in Japan and shipped to the UK, arriving at Fanuc’s customisation facility in Coventry, where they are customised to meet individual customer needs before being delivered nationwide.
Their assets require coordinated collection, transport, offloading, and precise positioning of these machines at end user sites across the UK. Each delivery must be executed with accuracy and care, reflecting the high standards expected by both Fanuc and their customers.
AIS Solution: A risk-led consistent approach built on experience
We have built a long standing, repeat partnership with Fanuc, based on trust, reliability, and a shared commitment to quality. We manage the safe handling of injection moulding machines from Fanuc’s Coventry warehouse through to final position at customer sites nationwide.
Our approach is deliberately risk led and methodical, driven by the expertise of our long serving engineering workforce. Planning begins well before delivery, with a detailed review of machine dimensions, weights, handling requirements, and any access or environmental constraints at both collection and delivery points.
By taking the time to fully understand each project, we are able to:
• Match our fleet and specialist lifting equipment precisely to the task
• Allocate experienced operators and engineers familiar with OEM machinery
• Develop detailed lifting plans and delivery sequences
• Safely manage transport into restricted or live environments where required
